These terms apply to trips booked with Alta Vida Tours, powered by Treasure Egypt Tours & Travel. Your written proposal and booking confirmation set out the specific details of your trip and form part of these terms. If they differ, the proposal and confirmation apply.
Proposals and prices
Proposals are free and carry no obligation. Prices shown on this website are "from" prices per person, sharing a double room. The final price depends on hotel category, season, party size and availability, and is the price in your written proposal.
International flights are not included unless your proposal says so.
Booking and payment
Your booking is confirmed when we receive your deposit (from USD 250), paid securely through PayLink, and send you a booking confirmation.
The balance is due before travel, on the date stated in your proposal.
What is included
Your proposal lists exactly what is and is not included: accommodation, transfers, guiding, sightseeing, meals and any internal flights. Anything not listed is not included.
Changes and cancellations by you
Please tell us in writing (email or WhatsApp) if you want to change or cancel your trip. Any charges, and the conditions for refunding your deposit, are set out in your proposal and booking confirmation. They reflect the terms our hotels, boats and airlines apply to us.
Changes and cancellations by us
If we have to make a significant change before you travel, we will tell you as soon as possible and offer an alternative or a refund of the money you have paid us for the affected services. If we cancel your trip, you will receive a full refund of the money you have paid us.
Shared services and itineraries
Nile cruises and dahabiya sailings are shared with other guests unless your proposal states a private charter. The vessel is assigned according to your departure date.
Sailing schedules and moorings can change with wind, water level and site opening hours. Your guide or captain may adjust the order of visits on the day.
Passports, visas and health
You are responsible for holding a valid passport, the visas you need and any health requirements for each country you visit. We are happy to advise as part of your itinerary.
Travel insurance
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellation, medical costs and repatriation.
